Coosa Baseball Association NO TOLERANCE Policy
Parents, step-parents, grandparents, other family members and friends, etc. should conduct themselves in a proper manner at all times.
1. There will be absolutely no abusive behavior or abusive language to players, coaches, umpires, other spectators, or board members.
a) If this occurs, the guilty party may be banned from practice and/or games.
b) If guilty party refuses to adhere to ban, child may be released from Coosa Baseball Association team. (At board of directors discretion)
2. Interfering with players, coaches, or umpires during practice or games will not be tolerated. It is the coaching staff’s job to coach the team, not yours.
a) At no time shall a fan come on the field or to the fence during practice or games to talk to a player, coach, or umpire unless specifically requested to do so by the coach.
b) Anyone approaching a player, coach, umpire or board member before or after a practice or game in a threatening or abusive manner will be subject to immediate banishment from Coosa Baseball Association.
3. Parents may request a conference with a coach or board member at anytime during the season. The conference must be scheduled at a mutually acceptable time and place and never in the presence of a player.
4. All Coosa Baseball Association game and practice facilities are alcohol and smoke-free areas. Violators of this policy will be asked to refrain or leave the facility.
5. Coaches shall never use profanity, abusive language or abusive behavior toward players, parents, umpires, other coaches or board members.
Violation of this policy will result in immediate dismissal.
